Regulatory Status and Firm Details

QuidExpert.co.uk is a trading style of T Dot UK Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for credit brokering activities and is listed on the Financial Services Register under Firm Reference Number 688026.

QuidExpert.co.uk is a credit broker, not a lender, and we do not make lending decisions. If your application is successful, we may receive a commission from the lender.

We work with a carefully selected panel of credit providers who may be able to offer you finance. We only introduce you to these providers, and they may pay us a commission for doing so. This does not influence or alter the rate you are offered.

All credit is subject to status and is only available to UK residents aged 18 or over. Before entering into any credit agreement, you should ensure that you can afford the repayments throughout the full term of the loan.

Our Services

We are a credit broker. Our role is to connect consumers seeking loan amounts between £100 and £5,000 with participating independent lenders ("Lenders"). T Dot UK Limited is not a lender; we do not provide loans, make credit decisions or offer financing directly to you.

Our service is a free referral service that enables consumers to be introduced to a network of third party Lenders. We are not exclusively tied to any Lender, and nothing on this website constitutes an offer or solicitation to lend.

We may receive commission or referral fees from third-party lenders, brokers, or finance providers when introducing customers to them. We may be paid either for referring a lead or enquiry, or where you proceed to enter into a credit agreement with a lender or provider. The amount payable may vary depending on the lender, broker, finance provider, product, or commercial arrangement in place.

The commission received may be either a fixed fee of up to £70 or a commission of up to 10% of the amount borrowed. These payments reflect commercial agreements between us and the provider and do not represent a fee charged directly to you or increase the cost of your agreement.

We provide access to products from a panel of lenders and providers and not the whole market. Whilst commission arrangements form part of our commercial relationships, they do not determine which products are displayed to you within our available panel.

You have the right to request further information about any commission or referral fee we may receive.

By submitting a registration form on this website, you consent to us sharing your enquiry and the information you provide ("Information") with Lenders on our panel. We will present your Information to one or more Lenders whose criteria may match your enquiry. If a Lender accepts your application, you will be redirected to the Lender's website to complete the remaining application steps. You are under no obligation to proceed with any loan offer and may withdraw at any time before signing the credit agreement and receiving funds. You may also have a statutory right to withdraw from a credit agreement within 14 days, provided you return the funds and pay any applicable interest. You must read your chosen Lender's cancellation terms carefully.

We do not endorse, recommend or guarantee the availability, suitability, price, interest rate, fees or any other terms offered by any Lender. We cannot guarantee that any Lender on our panel will provide you with the most suitable loan available in the wider market, and you should consider shopping around before entering into any credit agreement. Multiple credit applications may be recorded on your credit file and could affect your ability to obtain credit. By submitting your Information to us, you agree that Lenders may carry out checks to verify the details you have provided.

If you are connected with a Lender, you understand that T Dot UK Limited is not a party to any agreement between you and the Lender. We have no involvement in the loan process once your Information has been transmitted. All loan terms and conditions are set solely by the Lender, who is responsible for its own services. Your interactions with any Lender are governed by that Lender's policies, including its terms, conditions and privacy notice. You must direct all loan-related queries to the relevant Lender.

You agree that we shall not be liable for any loss, damage or costs arising from your use of our credit broking services or from any loan agreement you enter into with a Lender.

Eligibility

Loan terms offered by Lenders vary. However, as a minimum, users of our credit broking service must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a binding contract and able to provide a valid address within the United Kingdom for delivery of services. Individual Lenders may apply additional eligibility requirements.

Important Information

The information provided through our credit broking service and on this website may not meet all of your financial needs. You should consider seeking advice from a qualified financial professional before acting on any loan information presented by Lenders.

Not all Lenders on our panel can provide loans up to £5,000, and there is no guarantee that you will be approved for a loan of any amount or at the Representative Example rate. The Representative Example displayed on the website reflects the rate achieved by at least 51% of customers who take out a loan; it does not represent a guaranteed or typical rate for all applicants.

We do not determine or influence the terms offered by Lenders, including the interest rate, loan duration, fees or repayment schedule. Any loan offer you receive is determined solely by the Lender, and no party guarantees that such an offer will be suitable for your personal financial circumstances. It is your responsibility to ensure that any product or service available through our credit broking service or via our registration form meets your individual needs.

Credit Checking and Fraud Prevention

Although we do not conduct credit checks, make credit decisions or set loan terms, Lenders routinely use credit reference agencies and fraud prevention services when assessing applications. We simply transmit the information you provide on this website to the Lenders. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you submit is accurate, complete and up to date.

If you authorise a third party to submit information on your behalf, the information is considered to have been provided by you. Joint applications are treated as having been submitted with the knowledge and consent of both applicants.

Confidential Information and Privacy

We will treat your information as confidential at all times. Our Privacy Notice, available on QuidExpert.co.uk, sets out how we collect, use and protect your personal data. We only process your information in accordance with our Privacy Notice, and you should review it carefully.

Your Representations

By using our credit broking services, including via this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you are legally authorised to enter into these Terms and Conditions, and that you will not use our services or any materials we provide for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes the rights of TdotUK Limited or any third party.

You confirm that all information you provide to us, including your name, contact details and any other information, is true, accurate and complete. You also confirm that you are authorised and able to fulfil the obligations and meet the conditions applicable to users under these Terms and Conditions of Use.

Cancellation Rights

Liability

You acknowledge and agree that T Dot UK Limited is not liable or responsible for any claim, damage or loss arising directly or indirectly from your use of our credit broking services or this website. This includes, but is not limited to, the availability of offers or promotions, failure of electronic or mechanical equipment, communication line failures, telephone or connection issues, computer viruses, unauthorised access, theft, operator error, severe weather, natural disasters, labour disputes, war, governmental restrictions or any other circumstances beyond the control of T Dot UK Limited. T Dot UK Limited is also not responsible for any claim, damage or loss arising from transactions or interactions between you and third-party merchants or any other party.

You acknowledge that T Dot UK Limited is not liable for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of any third party. The risk of harm or damage resulting from such conduct rests entirely with you.

Indemnification

You agree to release, discharge, defend, indemnify and hold harmless T Dot UK Limited and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, information providers, licensors, contractors and all others involved in delivering T Dot UK Limited services or information (the "Indemnified Parties") from and against any loss, damage, judgment, award, cost, expense or legal fee arising from your breach of these terms, including any breach arising from information submitted by you through this website. You also agree to indemnify the Indemnified Parties from any claims brought by third parties that arise out of your use of information obtained through this website or related services.

Feedback

Complaints and Compensation

We will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, take steps to put things right as quickly as possible. You should normally receive an initial response within three business days.

Amendment

T Dot UK Limited reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions by providing you with a revised version or notice of change, either in writing or electronically. T Dot UK Limited may also update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of our credit broking services or this website at any time. Your continued use of our services following any amendments will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.

When making an enquiry for finance, you must complete the application form accurately and truthfully. Searches may be carried out using anti-fraud databases, and any fraudulent or misleading application will be reported to the appropriate agencies. The application form requires certain personal, employment and financial information so that Lenders can assess your ability to repay any loan for which you apply.

Once you submit your information, we will share it with independent, third-party credit providers on our panel. These Lenders will assess your information against their own lending criteria. We may inform you that more than one Lender is willing to consider your application, in which case it is your sole responsibility to choose the Lender that best meets your borrowing needs. We do not limit introductions to Lenders who pay us commissions.

You are solely responsible for selecting your preferred Lender and for maintaining accurate and up to-date account information, login credentials and registration details with that Lender. You must notify us, and any Lender to whom you have applied, if the information you have provided changes in any way.

By submitting data on this website, you acknowledge that you are requesting a referral to one or more Lenders with whom we may share your information. You understand that these Lenders, or their service providers, may contact you by email, telephone, mobile device, automated voice messaging or direct mail for the purpose of assisting you with your loan enquiry.

Actual or attempted unauthorised use of this website may result in civil or criminal action. We reserve the right to monitor, view and record activity on the website. We may collect information such as the date and time of your visit, the domain used to access the website and the date and time of any application. This information may be collected without further consent unless you disable cookies before using the site.
